WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Interested in Building Something Ambitious With Other Students?

AIdrones.partners is a student-created and student-run technology community where students can find peers who share their interests and passion, form project teams around common goals, and turn those interests into substantial results: working systems, measurable evidence, competition entries and accomplishments they can genuinely be proud of. Our current members attend Granite Bay High School and Oakmont High School. Membership is free, and students may join regardless of school or location.

Real student collaboration: exchanging ideas and exploring drone technology together.

Technical Foundation

Programming plus exposure to AI/ML, computer vision, computing, networking, robotics, electronics, embedded systems or drones.

Creator Mindset

You have programmed, designed, configured, experimented with or built real systems—and want to do substantially more.

Commitment

You are self-driven, willing to learn from others and ready to share responsibility for ambitious results—and stay with difficult work long enough to make it competitive.

You do not need to be an expert in everything listed above. Project teams are stronger when students bring different abilities but share enthusiasm for the same goal. Bring a strength, an interest, or a willingness to learn. If the idea sounds exciting, tell us a little about your interests, background and skills. The short application takes about 3–5 minutes. There is no membership fee.

You will not be figuring everything out alone.
Project teams learn from one another, and experienced technologists from industry provide technical guidance and mentorship when project teams need it. Students still lead the projects and own the work.
