COMPETITION PATHWAYS

STEM, AI & Engineering Competitions for High School Students

A strong technical project can be developed through different lenses: engineering research, innovation, social impact or entrepreneurship. These are four competition pathways AIdrones.partners aims to pursue.

Four Competition Pathways

Conrad Challenge

Innovation-focused competition built around student solutions to real-world problems. A strong fit for an integrated technology solution with clear innovation and impact.

Regeneron ISEF Pathway

Science and engineering research pathway emphasizing rigorous methods and measurable evidence. Students reach ISEF by qualifying through an affiliated fair rather than entering ISEF directly.

Blue Ocean Competition

Student entrepreneurship competition centered on an innovative venture concept and pitch. Useful when a real-world technical solution can be framed around a differentiated customer or social need.

The objective is not simply to enter.
Build technically strong work with the evidence, innovation and communication needed to compete seriously. Recognition and awards can never be guaranteed.

One Project, Different Lenses

Research / Engineering

Ask a testable question, define metrics, run experiments and analyze results. This is the natural direction for science-fair and ISEF pathways.

Innovation / Impact

Show why the problem matters, what is new about the solution and how the system creates meaningful value.

Entrepreneurship

Identify users, alternatives, a value proposition and a credible way the solution could be adopted or sustained.

Build Work Worthy of Competition
